Privacy notice
Last updated 18 October 2026
This notice is for everyone who uses CourtKu: people booking courts, and staff at the venues.
Who we are
- CourtKu is a court booking system for venues in Brunei. This notice explains what information we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.
If you book a court
- We collect your name, phone number and email, the booking itself (venue, courts, times, add-ons, total and how you'll pay) and, if you pay by transfer, a photo or PDF of your receipt.
- We use them to make your booking, send your confirmation and any changes by email, and let the venue reach you about it.
- The venue you booked sees all of these, so its staff can check your payment and contact you. Other venues don't.
- We don't sell your information, use it for advertising or send you marketing emails.
If you work at a venue
- We keep your name, email and login, so you can sign in to the venue portal.
- We record what you do to bookings (marking them paid, cancelling, moving) and which login did it. Your business's other logins and CourtKu can see this.
Keeping CourtKu safe
- When you book, a security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) looks at your browser and IP address to stop automated fake bookings.
- Our servers keep a short log of requests (pages visited, times, errors, IP addresses) to fix problems and stop abuse.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare runs our website and stores our data and receipts.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Clerk runs the venue staff logins.
- Google Maps shows the map on venue pages. Google receives your IP address when the map loads.
- These services handle information only to provide their service to us. Some of them store or process it outside Brunei.
How long we keep it
- Payment receipts: deleted 90 days after you upload them.
- Bookings: kept so the venue has a record of its bookings. You can ask us to remove yours.
- Emails we send: a copy is kept so we can check what was sent if something goes wrong.
- Request logs: kept for up to 7 days.
- Venue staff logins: removed when the venue tells us someone has left.
Cookies
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Venue staff get cookies that keep them signed in. Google Maps may set its own cookies when the map on a venue page loads.
Your choices
- You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email azahari.faiz@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
- For questions about a booking itself, such as changing it or a refund, contact the venue.
Changes
- We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
